Perez, 24, had a partial tear in the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow that was discovered last season. The surgery to repair his elbow was performed by Rangers team physician Dr. Keith Meister on May 19, 2014. He made a rehab appearance with Frisco on June 10 but exited the game after 2 2/3 innings. Monday's game against the Midland RockHounds will begin at 7:05 p.m.

The left-handed pitcher started 46 games for the RoughRiders across four different seasons, 2009-11 and 2013. He spent the entire 2010 campaign in Frisco, a season in which he struck out 101 batters in 99.2 innings, finishing 5-8 in 23 starts.

The Venezuelan holds a career 4.13 ERA in 40 major league games, compiling a 15-13 record. Perez was selected as the 2013 Rangers Rookie of the Year, winning ten games in his first extended major league action. The southpaw made his major league debut in 2012 at the age of 21.

Harrison is slated to start for the RoughRiders on Wednesday, June 24 when the team hosts the Midland RockHounds at 11:05 a.m.

Harrison, 29, underwent spinal fusion surgery on two disks in his lower back in June of last year. The surgery was an attempt to alleviate severe pain caused by slippage in a vertebra due to spondylolisthesis.

The left-hander has pitched in 19 games for Frisco across five seasons, 2008-11 and 2013-14. Harrison started nine games in 2008 going 3-2 with a 3.33 ERA.

Harrison holds a 4.15 ERA in 132 major league games, compiling a 49-33 record. This season, he has made four rehab starts for Triple-A Round Rock, going 1-3 with a 6.35 ERA.
