"I" Logo Merchandise Flying Off The Shelves

Less than 24 hours after the Albuquerque Isotopes unveiled an additional red jersey featuring an alternate logo, merchandise sales at the Isotopes Park Pro Shop have been tremendous as Isotopes fans both locally and across the country have been securing their new gear.

"Response to our alternate jersey and logo has exceeded our expectations," said General Manager John Traub. "Merchandise has been flying off the shelves since we unveiled the red jersey yesterday which shows the dedication and passion of our great fan base. The 'I' logo is such a great supplement to our already popular 'A' logo, and the combination of two really provides plenty of great items that will catch any fan's eye."

Sales of merchandise featuring the alternate logo began just after noon yesterday, and the new items have been a hit both in the Isotopes Park Pro Shop and online. Replica jerseys and authentic on-field caps have been shipped around the country and even internationally to Canada, Mexico, Australia and Caracao.

The Isotopes will first wear the new jerseys April 10 when they take on the Reno Aces at 7:05 p.m.

Merchandise featuring the new alternate logo is available in the Isotopes Park Pro Shop and online HERE. Items include New Era 59fifty On-Field fitted caps as well as replica jerseys and t-shirts. The Isotopes Park Pro Shop is open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and will also be open this Saturday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
