Portland, Maine - The Eastern League of Professional Baseball Clubs has selected Portland Sea Dogs' starting pitcher Keith Couch as the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the week of July 4th - July 10th, 2016.

Couch pitched a complete game, nine-inning shutout in an 11-0 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on July 7th at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. He allowed seven hits, walked none, and struck out six.

Couch now holds the Sea Dogs franchise record for career complete games with seven. He has worked three consecutive complete games, including back-to-back nine-inning performances in his past two starts.
