Jumbo Shrimp Homestand Highlights May 7-11

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The 2018 Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp season presented by Community First Credit Union continues with a homestand Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11. The Jumbo Shrimp host the Tennessee Smokies, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, for a five-game series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:

Monday, May 7, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home with Dreams Come True: The Jumbo Shrimp feature up to two different local nonprofits at each Jumbo Shrimp Monday home game. Dreams Come True (dreamscometrue.org) and MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation (malwashington.com) will raise funds through ticket sales. The Launch-A-Ball promotion will benefit Dreams Come True. VyStar Credit Union members can get a buy-3-get-1 free ticket special by showing their VyStar credit or debit card at the box office.
Canines and Crustaceans, Bark in the Park presented by Standard Feed and Seed: The Jumbo Shrimp welcome dogs to the ballpark, free of charge with a paying human companion. Dog-free seating will be available in Sections 110 and 111.
Jumpin' Jax Flyball Club: The local club will have a pregame exhibition.
Half-Price Yuengling Monday: Every Monday night, 16-oz. Yuengling cans are half-price.

Community First Credit Union Two-for-Tuesday: Tickets are 2-for-1 at the box office for Community First Credit Union members using their CFCU credit or debit card. At the Community First Credit Union table on the concourse, fans who are not members can learn more about membership and the Jumbo Shrimp VISA® Debit Card, which gives card holders a 10 percent discount on merchandise purchases, a free small fountain drink with any concession stand purchase and $2 off tickets purchased on game day at the box office.
Coors Light $2 Tuesday: Fans can purchase $1 (12-oz.) and $2 (24-oz.) Coors Light in select locations, and $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands.
UCF KNight: The University of Central Florida's ChargeOn Tour, including UCF cheerleaders and Mascot Knightro, will be at the ballpark. Vice President and Director of Athletics Danny White and Head Football Coach Josh Heupel will each throw ceremonial first pitches. Plus, to celebrate the Knights' perfect 13-0 season, if the Jumbo Shrimp shut out the Tennessee Smokies, 13-0, in a regular nine-inning game, one lucky fan will win $13,000.
Breakfast for Dinner: Get Shrimp and Grits, Fluffy Scrambled Eggs, Fresh Baked Biscuits and Orange Juice for $10 at the All American Jax concession stand.

Business Person Special presented by Yuengling: A package of a reserved seat, hot dog, chips and 16-oz. soda or Yuengling is only $15 by calling the box office at (904) 358-2846 or purchasing in person.

Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, along the right-field concourse, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands. DJ Swagg and DJ MoneyGud will provide music at the Budweiser Tiki Terrace.
Nurses Night presented by Memorial Hospital: Celebrate Nurses Week with a special theme night at the ballpark.
National Shrimp Day: Boom Boom Shrimp and a 16-oz. beer will be $10 at the Southern Fried concession stand.

NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks: Fans may visit any participating NAPA AutoCare Center to get a FREE general admission ticket (reserved seat upgrade available at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville box office) for the Friday night game. At every Friday home game, the Jumbo Shrimp have postgame NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks!
Red Shirt Friday: Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the military and save $1 per ticket at the box office, or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Jumbo Shrimp are wearing red "Bold City" jerseys for every Friday home game this season.
Friday Night Lites Miller Lite Happy Hour: Miller Lite $1 12-oz. beers and $1 off craft beer specials are available in the Craft Cave near the third-base gate from gates opening until 7:30 p.m. at every Friday home game.
Folding Table Appreciation Night: After being traumatized by Buffalo Bills fans in January, we will show our gratitude for Jacksonville area folding tables that provide quality surfaces to work, party and eat. Activities include folding table grand prizes, between-inning games, local businesses set up on folding tables and, for the first time ever, an exclusive interview with a folding table that survived a Bills fan jumping on it during the Jaguars' 10-3 victory over the Bills.
