The Mets regained the lead in the 5th, plating one run to go on top 2-1. Through five innings, the Mets outhit the Hammerheads six to one, but that would change in the 6th inning.
The Hammerheads never looked back, as the Mets were shut down the remainder of the night thanks to relief appearances by
