PEARL, MS - The Mississippi Braves (27-23, 56-64) defeated the Chattanooga Lookouts for the second consecutive night at Trustmark Park after Atlanta Braves No. 5 overall prospect, Cristian Pache drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning, propelling the M-Braves to a 3-2 victory. M-Braves starting pitcher, Ricardo Sánchez provided his team with a spectacular outing as he earned a quality start and recorded a season high, 8 K's. Sanchez exited the game in the top of the seventh inning with a final line of 6.1 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 K and 0 HR.

Chattanooga struck first when they scored two runs in the top of the second inning via a two-run triple from the bat of Jordan Gore that allowed Chris Paul and Brain Navarreto to score.
Travis Demeritte got Mississippi on the board in the bottom of the third inning after smacking a sharp infield single, scoring Ray-Patrick Didder. Tyler Marlette immediately followed with a ground ball RBI single to center field, tying the game 2-2 in the bottom of the third inning. Pache score the game tying run on the single by Marlette.
With the score tied 2-2 at the end of the ninth inning, the M-Braves and the Lookouts headed into extra innings to determine a game two winner. The Lookouts failed to manufacture a run in the top of the 10th inning which provided the M-Braves with an opportunity to take game two of the series in walk-off fashion which is exactly what they did after Pache drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs to give the M-Braves a 3-2 victory.
M-Braves relief pitcher, Josh Graham (5-3, 7.63) earned the win after tossing 2.0 innings of scoreless baseball. Graham did not allow a hit in his 2.0 innings pitched and struck out three. Lookouts relief pitcher, Tyler Jay (3-4, 4.09) suffered the loss.
Mississippi and Chattanooga will tango for the third time this week on Thursday night (August 16) at 7:00 p.m. (CST) in game three of the five game series at Trustmark Park.
