LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Gwinnett Stripers return home this weekend looking to continue their hot streak at Coolray Field with a three-game series against the Durham Bulls from Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29.
Gwinnett has won its last three games on its home turf and aims to carry that momentum against the Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. Highlights of the weekend include post-game fireworks on April 27, Diamond Dig (presented by Georgia 811) on April 28 and First Responders Day on April 29.

Friday, April 27
Opponent: Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays)
First Pitch: 7:05 p.m.
National Anthem performed by: Freeman's Mill Elementary
Features:

  • Bicentennial Throwback Night - Celebrating Gwinnett County's 200-year history, the Stripers will wear throwback uniforms! Meet historical characters, including the county's founder Button Gwinnett.
  • Post-Game Fireworks - Stick around after the game for a fantastic fireworks display!

Saturday, April 28
Opponent: Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays)
First Pitch: 6:05 p.m.
National Anthem performed by: Providence Christian Academy
Features:
  • Diamond Dig (presented by Georgia 811) - Fans in attendance can enter via social media for a chance to be selected for the annual Diamond Dig. After the final out of the game, those chosen participants will have a chance to dig for prizes hidden in the Coolray Field infield. The grand prize winners will receive either jewelry or a sports memorabilia item, presented by Georgia 811!
  • Friends and Family Night (presented by McDonald's) - For only $15, you get one Field Box Ticket and a McDonald's voucher for one large sandwich or four Buttermilk Crispy Tenders.

Sunday, April 29

  • First Responders Day - We'll honor our local law enforcement, fire departments and other agencies as an ode to our heroes!

                                <li>All first responders will get a buy one, get one free infield box ticket for Sunday's game.</li>
                                <li>The on-field promotions and activities will be first responder-themed.</li>
                                <li>Kids can meet Marshall from PAW Patrol and are invited to "touch a truck" on the Coolray Field plaza.</li>
                            </ul>
                            </li>
                            <li><b>Sunday Funday (presented by Georgia United Credit Union)</b> - Fans are invited to play catch on the field before the game from 12:05 p.m. and lasting approximately 20 minutes. After the game, kids (ages 12 and under) are welcome to run the bases to cap "Sunday Funday" presented by Georgia United Credit Union.</li>
                            <li><b>Alumni Jersey and Bat Auction</b> - The Stripers will be auctioning off authentic, game-worn jerseys and game-used bats from past seasons. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go toward the Gwinnett County Police Foundation, Inc.</li>
